Franklin F. Adams
After having founded the company in 2008, Franklin has remained an active team member as President of Adams Property Group, overseeing each department within the company from leasing and marketing, to property development and rehabilitation, Franklin is involved in it all! Franklin’s main area of focus; however, is investor development and relations, as well as asset acquisitions.

In 2001, Franklin opened a utility vehicle dealership in the greater Charleston area. Around that same time, Franklin was introduced to the real estate industry through his dad when, together with Franklin’s brother, purchased a self-storage facility in Aiken, SC. By 2004, Franklin’s love of real estate had multiplied, Franklin had sold the dealership and invested full time in real estate, developing, acquiring, and brokering real estate transactions for investment funds and private investors. Continuous growth and motivation have created what is Adams Property Group today.
Originally from Augusta, GA, Franklin currently resides in Charleston with his wife Kate, and 3 daughters, Mariann, Nealie, and Frances.
Franklin serves on the Board of Directors for local non-profit, Camp Happy Days, and serves on the Board of Trustees for Christ School for Boys in Asheville, NC. Franklin and his family are very active within their church, and in his spare time, Franklin enjoys hunting or a good game of golf.

Development & Acquisitions
Jack joined Adams Property Group in 2014 to oversee the front-end fee and revenue producing activities of the company., His management focus includes new development projects, acquisitions and third-party brokerage work.
In addition, Jack works closely with multiple parties including municipalities, vendors, clients, partners, and employees to ensure new opportunities and strategic vision for the company are thoroughly evaluated and pursued appropriately, helping to position Adams Property Group as an industry leader in its asset bearing markets.

With a passion for architecture, old and new, Jack’s experience working with real estate developers has developed within him the skill set that enables him to guide projects from conception through completion. He enjoys the challenges of site selection and design, zoning, design approval, budgeting/project coordination and construction.
Jack holds degrees in both Architecture and Environmental Design from the North Carolina State University. Post-graduation, he worked as an architect for several years before relocating to the Charleston area.
Jack relocated from North Carolina in 2014 with his wife Mary Rob, and their daughter Ginny.
Jack is an active member of his church, and enjoys spending time with his family on the water, with his buddies on the golf course or in search of the best menu Charleston has to offer. Jack obviously enjoys a challenge.

Development & Acquisitions
Michael joined Adams Property Group in 2012 and is the go-to guy for sourcing and underwriting income-producing commercial properties for the portfolio.
Managing the deal flow of all acquisitions and development projects, Michael performs the financial analysis for potential opportunities, manages due diligence tasks and closing processes, negotiates terms from lending partners, and helps facilitate growth for the overall portfolio.

Michael holds several degrees including a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Clemson University, a Master of Science in Urban Planning from The University of Tennessee, and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel Graduate College.
Michael’s extensive education and experience in real estate includes work as a city planner, Vice President of a development company, and site manager for a national developer. Michael possesses a unique perspective and skill set that few can rival.
Michael is an active member of several organizations including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a licensed SC Real Estate Salesman, a licensed SC Residential Homebuilder, and an LEED Accredited Professional.
In his free time, Michael enjoys playing a few rounds of golf, and spending time with his wife Natalie, and his son Lucas.

George’s addition to the Adams Property Group team in 2018 gave APG the additional talent needed to widen the net of property selection and assemblage and support the development plans of the company.
In addition to site identification and selection, George is skilled at navigating zoning issues, understanding entitlement processes, compiling relevant market and competition data, and assembling the financial information necessary to secure funding for development projects.

George has a strong real estate background with experience in site selection and market analysis, construction estimation, title abstraction, and project management.
George holds a finance degree from the University of Alabama, a Juris Doctor degree from the Charleston School of Law, a Graduate Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.
An active member of his church and a participant in several clubs and groups including Charleston’s own Drayton Hall Palladian Circle, The Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers, George has recently added the title “Dad” to his already impressive resume.
When they can pull themselves away from their precious baby boy, George and his wife, Alicia, can be spotted enjoying live music, planning a foreign adventure for the family, or watching some Tennessee football – Go Vols!

Alex joined Adams Property Group in 2017 as an Associate in the accounting department. Acting as support to the Controller, Alex maintains Adams Property Group’s accounting records, runs financial reports, and maintains operating budgets for the portfolio. In addition to perfecting the balance of monthly and quarterly financials, Alex handles all of the Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables for the company’s portfolio of properties and investments.

Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Augusta University and a Graduate’s Certificate in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University. His education, paired with 5 years of field work, gives Alex the unique skillset required to successfully administer Adams Property Group’s large and diverse portfolio. Managing budgets, cashflow, and financial reporting for over One Million square feet of retail shopping centers, warehouse space, and self-storage facilities, mixed with Alex’ knowledge of Property Management, makes him an invaluable team member.
Alex relocated to the Charleston area shortly after joining the firm from his hometown just outside of Augusta, GA. When Alex is not knee deep in numbers at work, or relaxing at home, he can be found sampling some of the amazing eateries that Charleston has to offer, or enjoying the history and nature that Charleston has to offer.

Development & Acquisitions
Hal joined Adams Property Group in 2020 to focus on the expansion of the portfolio assets acquired for Adams Property Group with the intention of retail development or redevelopment in mind. Actively seeking out and identifying land parcels for future development projects, Hal performs extensive research, market analysis, and processes risk analysis while working closely with our acquisitions team to help facilitate growth for the overall portfolio.

Hal holds a Bachelors Degree in History from The University of South Carolina. His education is paired with three years of experience working as a retail development associate throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Texas where he gained first hand knowledge and understanding of site selection, contract negotiations, due diligence, and managing tenant relationships.
After a recent relocation back to South Carolina, Hal is excited to apply his knowledge, skills, and experience in order to expand APG’s retail development portfolio throughout the Southeast. Hal enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found on the golf course, in a deer stand, or spending time with friends on the water.
